Simon Enderli is the Head of the Bern Economic Development Agency, where he focuses on strengthening the canton’s competitiveness, innovation, and international business relations. He has more than 20 years of experience in leadership, business development, and international markets across the public and private sectors. Previously, he served as CEO of the Swiss Entrepreneurs Foundation and has been actively involved in Switzerland’s startup and innovation ecosystem.

Nordic firm’s experience: Meconet

Tomi Ropanen is Key Account Manager at Meconet Group and a Finnish business and technology professional with extensive experience in developing business in Switzerland and across Central Europe. Ropanen will share the company’s experiences in the Swiss market, with a special focus on the Bern region. He will offer practical insights, lessons learned, and ideas on building business and partnerships in Switzerland.

Meconet Group is a Finnish family-owned manufacturing company providing demanding sheet metal and spring solutions for international customers. The company supports customers from product development and prototyping to industrialization and serial production, serving a wide range of industries.
